The Butterfly

All of my life I’ve felt like a caterpillar. I’ve been exploring and experiencing the world around me from the ground, looking up. 

I have been limited by my point of view, by my perspective.

This has been my journey so far.

Something has changed, something in me has changed.

I feel like I’ve been in a cocoon for a very long time. And like the caterpillar, I’ve been getting ready for something new, for the next part of my life.

All of my experiences, and knowledge I’ve gained, have brought me to this point. 

I am now a beautiful butterfly, leaving the safety of my cocoon, ready to spread my wings and fly into the wonder of the unknown.
