OPDI has a June 2008 policy brief about Peer Support and the current government’s priorities around emergency room times and enhanced access to mental health care.

The 2005 report “CSIs: Impact, Outcomes and Effectiveness” is an advocacy paper outlining the signifcant role that consumer/survivor initiatives have to play in the community mental health system. Peer support, self-help, and community economic development strategies and evidence of how they work are outlined.
This report was developed in partnership with CMHA Ontario, the Federation, and CAMH.
